Whether you are just a total procrastinator or looking for a different costume to wear to your back-to-back Halloween events, these last minute Halloween costumes will have you feeling festive and ready to party in no time at all!
- Cat – It’s a classic for a reason. Put on a black long sleeve shirt and black leggings. Draw on a black nose and a couple of cute whiskers. Top it off with a cat ear headband and you’re good to go.
- Scarecrow – Find some overalls or even jeans . Add in a flannel shirt and put your hair in two low braids. Sketch in a few stitches on your face with black eyeliner. Tuck some straw into your pockets to complete the look.
- Witch – Think goth, but make it cute. Gather all the black you’ve got – black dress, black nail, black jewelry, black tights (fishnets if you’ve got them). Pick up a witch hat and a good ole fashioned wooden broom if you’re so inclined
- Aerobics instructor – We all have a surplus of athletic wear just hanging around (Thank you, COVID). Grab your brightest workout set, thick white socks, and if you’ve got it, an inside-out-off-the-shoulder sweatshirt. Finish off the look with some intense pink blush and a high ponytail, slightly off center.
- Lifeguard – If you have a red one-piece bathing suit, this is costume gold. Grab a whistle to top the look off. Don’t forget to shout cautionary words to all the passersby.
- Chef – This last minute costume might be the easiest of the bunch, grab an apron and a kitsch utensil like a spatula or whisk!
- Lion – To create a lion’s mane, simply add some mousse to your hair and blow dry upside down. Add some hairspray and tease like crazy. Add in some black eyeliner to draw a muzzle. Wear a neutral shirt or fuzzy sweater to complete the look.
- Bachelor Contestant – This last minute costume gives you a chance to pull out your favorite cocktail dress. Doll yourself up like you’re competing against 30 other women for the same man! Don’t forget a single red rose.
- Hippie – Get into your 70’s groove! Find your widest flare jeans, anything crocheted, throw in a few beachy waves and colored sunglasses for an effortless Halloween costume.
- Vampire – Everyone loves a pair of novelty fangs. Even without the fangs, you can quickly throw together this costume with some fake blood, extra pale makeup and a moody stare.
